Terms & Conditions of sale

We only accept orders online for UK deliveries. For orders outside the UK, please email or call for a quote.

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions received by AudioVista via the telephone, Internet, mail and email.

Pricing:

Prices quoted on our web site include VAT (currently at 17.5%) and UK mainland delivery unless otherwise stated. Any price changes to those published on our web site will be notified to the client by email or phone before the order is processed and any money charged to credit or debit cards.

Errors and Omissions:
In the event a product is listed or quoted at an incorrect price due to an error from our suppliers or publishers. We reserve the right to refuse any orders listed at the incorrect price. If your credit/debit card has been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a refund to your credit/debit card.

Addition bundled items or offers:
Were there are bundled items or offer in a package, this will be clearly stated on the product page. If for any reason these goods are returned then all the items included in the original bundle or offer must also accompany the returned goods.

Availability:
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If the goods are not supplied as specified within a reasonable period of time, we may offer a similar product or will refund you if the transaction is cancelled. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or any expenses caused by any delay in the delivery of the goods if they are delivered in a reasonable period of time.

Description of Goods:
We are sometimes unable to give full specifications of all products. All images, descriptive matter, specifications in our advertisements, relayed by telephone and on the Internet are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description. Full details of specifications are available from manufacturer’s brochures or their websites.

Payment Method:
Payment can be made on-line or by telephone. We accept all major credit and debit cards including MasterCard and Visa. You must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number, which is held with your credit/debit card company.

Please note that goods ordered by credit card must be delivered to the cardholders address unless a prior arrangement has been made with the credit card company.

We also accept payment by personal cheques but please allow 7 working days for the clearance of cheques. Goods will only be dispatched upon us receiving clear funds.

Your statuary rights are not affected.

Our commitment to comply with the Regulations:
We comply fully with the Consumer Protection (distance selling) regulations 2000 and the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002.

Rights to cancel under the Consumer Protection (distance selling) Regulations:
Generally you have the right to cancel the contract by giving us notice in writing, including fax or email at any time during the 'cooling off period' which finishes 7 working days after the day of receipt of the goods. If you do cancel the contract after the goods have been sent and received you must return the goods to us at your own cost or pay us to collect them and in the meantime take reasonable care of them so that we can offer them for re-sale. If you do not take reasonable care of them and they are not received by us or not received by us in a saleable condition you may be not receive a full refund.
We advise our customers that all accessories should be unopened; including cabinets, remote controls, speaker wire, batteries and scart leads, any accessories missing from the returned product will incur an administration charge of £25.00 plus the replacement cost from the manufacturer.

Excluded items:
•    Cables that are cut to length or made to order
•    Special orders to customer requirements i.e. loudspeaker finishes etc.

Damaged goods / incorrect goods:
In the unlikely event that goods are incorrect, faulty or damaged AudioVista must be informed in writing within three working days. A replacement unit or full refund will be made. All packaging must be retained for inspection. Goods will be collected and refunded or replaced within 10 working days.

Delivery:
AudioVista use national carriers for delivery of goods. Whilst every effort is made to ensure goods are received on the day specified we shall not be liable for any consequential losses or expenses caused by any delay in delivery of the goods. It is the responsibility of the person ordering the goods to be available to sign for them at the time of delivery or, in their absence, an authorized person.
The purchaser takes full responsibility for the goods once they have been delivered and signed for. Before goods are signed for it is important that they are checked for any signs of damage. In the event goods are signed for unchecked or you suspect there may have been damaged during transit this should be noted on the carriers delivery documentation at the time of signing.

Delayed Delivery:
We will normally only request payment when goods are in stock however in the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil the order within 7 days of payment a full refund will be made unless prior agreement has been made with the client.

Failed Delivery:
Failed deliveries of products which have been returned to us owing to a breach of contract by the consumer; Customers will receive a letter from us, advising that they have 7 days to contact us to rearrange delivery. Failing this, the product will be returned to stock and a refund will be processed less a £25.00 administration charge.

Product Guarantees:
All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the manufacturers guarantee and are covered by the stipulated guarantee period.

Where faults occur within 14 days after delivery the product should be returned for a replacement or we can arrange a collection free of charge. If a fault occurs after this time, the return carriage is to be paid by the customer.

All products that are found to be working to the manufacturer’s specifications will be subject to carriage and inspection charge of £25.

Under Guarantee Repairs:
All repairs are either carried by the manufacturer or their agents. Goods that develop faults over 14 days from receipt should be reported to Customer Services by contacting email. cserv@audiovista.co.uk.

We advise all customers that if they are packaging the goods for return we recommend that the original box and packaging material should be used where available. If the goods be packaged in a negligent manner, then you will be responsible for the damage that may be sustained during transit.
